I’m delighted to announce that Sonia Rola has rejoined southgate solicitors. For those who knew Sonia during her first chapter with us, you’ll understand exactly why we’re celebrating. For those who didn’t, you’re about to find out.

Sonia joined us during the firm’s infancy and was on our journey for almost five years. She left us over three years ago, and in the time since she’s gained experience and built a breadth of exposure that sharpens any solicitor – different ways of working, different cultures, different approaches to the practice of family law. She returns not just as a familiar face, but as someone who has grown considerably as a practitioner – expanding her practice into hybrid mediation, child-inclusive mediation and surrogacy law.

What I find most meaningful, though, is why she’s come back. It wasn’t just about the next opportunity. Sonia has spoken about the culture here at southgate solicitors – the way we treat people, the values we try to live by, the kind of firm we’re genuinely trying to build – as something she hadn’t quite found replicated elsewhere. That means a great deal to me personally, and to the whole team.
