I joined southgate solicitors in December 2020 with the hopes of developing my family law experience, progressing within the legal profession, and working in a job I enjoy. After a year of working at the firm, I have certainly had the opportunity to achieve these goals in my current paralegal position.

The team are incredibly warm, welcoming, and fun. When the country went into lockdown in January 2021, I was fully supported in the transition to working from home. The firm already had robust remote working systems in place, and I always felt able to ask the team questions on anything I was unsure about.

Having worked in other legal positions, the firm’s paperless client and case management systems really stand out, as they allow the team to work from anywhere and collaborate with ease.

The team also regularly enjoy social gatherings, birthday lunches, Christmas parties, and the annual fun-packed team trip which gives us time to relax and enjoy each other’s company.

I could not be more thankful for my colleagues and the experiences I have gained here, I look forward to many more!
