We are pleased to announce the promotion of our private law children specialist Rajan to senior associate solicitor.

Rajan joined us as a family law solicitor in our early days in 2018 – from his early days joining us as a baby solicitor almost eight years ago, to his now ten years qualification – It’s been an absolute pleasure supporting Rajan’s journey.

Our founder, Hasan Hadi has this to say about Rajan:

“His dedication, professionalism, and sharp legal mind have been invaluable to both the firm and our clients. Reaching ten years qualification is no small feat, and Rajan has done so with integrity, unwavering commitment to excellence and some humour.

We’re proud to celebrate this milestone with him and we’re excited to see what the next ten years bring – preferably with fewer interruptions… but I won’t hold my breath!”

Rajan reflected on the time he has been with us so far, and the length of his qualification:

“What a long, strange trip it’s been. I’m now 10 years old! No cards and cake as yet but I’m sure they’ll be forthcoming soon (hint hint).

It’s hard in the hustle and bustle of the daily life of a solicitor to really appreciate how far you’ve come from when you first started as a wide eyed work experience student to being 10 years PQE and being that grumpy old man in the corner, especially when the ever present imposter syndrome is looking over your shoulder.

I’d be lying if I said it had been all smooth sailing. There have been ups, downs, sidesteps, loops and everything in between. So a Monday, in other words. Looking back

though (it feels strange even writing that) all of the ups, downs etc have in their own ways been teaching moments and have let me build on what came before.

I have truly been lucky and am forever grateful to have worked alongside some amazing people in that time from whom I’ve learned so much and will continue to learn from. If I were to name them all we’d be here a while.

Suffice to say, as I sit here and my inbox is pinging incoming emails, it’s been a heck of a trip and I’m looking forward to the next ten. And to end this in a way to reflect what I’ve learned over the last 10 years…[insert memorable and pithy quote here].

PS: A special shoutout to the man that puts up with me barging into his office every 5 minutes with a new idea/rant/because I’m bored. Poor guy’s lived with it for nearly 8 years now…thanks Hasan!”
