We’re pleased to introduce Amy Blaettler as the newest addition to our family law team at southgate solicitors. Amy joined us in September 2024 and specialises in public law matters, particularly Care Proceedings. Her expertise and dedication make her a strong advocate for clients facing complex and sensitive situations. 

Amy completed her law degree at BPP Law School in 2023, gaining practical experience as a paralegal while studying. She has also represented her university at international debate competitions and served on the Student Liaison Committee. In addition, Amy holds a Bachelor’s in Political Science from the University of Zurich and a Master’s in Philosophy from King’s College London, focusing on Moral and Feminist Philosophy. 

Amy is known for her compassionate approach and ability to handle challenging cases involving parental alienation, domestic abuse, and mental health issues. Fluent in both English and German, she is able to communicate effectively with a diverse range of clients. 

Outside of work, Amy enjoys reading, going for walks, and learning to play Taylor Swift songs on her guitar.
